Why blog?

My goal is to see what I can accomplish professionally with a blog. Where do I go with this as a CPA? As a CFO? Do I want to create multiple blogs or an all-purpose blog? How about personally? Same type of question(s). A blog for each hobby or interest? Blogs for Christian interests? Lots of questions!
